Doug

Doug Mayone, CEM

Engineering Operations Manager

Doug Mayone oversees the three core offerings at Fischer Energy: Energy Project Development, Project Implementation & Workforce Training. With 10 years of experience in engineering, system design, project management, and commissioning, as well as direct experience with property technology platforms, he brings a diverse background and hands-on approach to the team.

Doug first studied automotive technology and was a BMW technician before returning to school to obtain his engineering degree. He learned the value of picking the right tools to get the job done effectively, and the experience provided foundational troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems that remain relevant in his work today.

After pursuing Engineering Physics and spending nearly a decade in application and design engineering, applying mechanical, electrical, and thermodynamic principles, Doug stepped into real estate technology. There, he learned to evaluate building operations and provide guidance for building improvements; he gravitated toward resolving the disconnect between building operations, management, and ownership teams. This position solidified when joining Fischer Energy, where Doug remains passionate about building relationships and providing insight to get things done.

Doug is an AEE Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Physics from Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Brian

Brian Boylan

Project Engineer

Brian Boylan is an ambitious engineer driven to assist Fischer Energy Partners in executing an effective energy management strategy throughout a diverse field of market and business sectors. Brian continues to develop his utility analysis capabilities by preparing properties for energy certifications through the Energy Star Portfolio Manager portal, generating baseline property consumption profiles, and identifying expected utility reductions from future projects.

Mr. Boylan provides a hands-on approach, capable of assisting in project development that yields results and remains adaptive for the needs of the client. During his time in school, Brian completed two summer internships with Fischer Energy Partners, evolving his future involvement with the team. Mr. Boylan learned early on how to resolve real-world complexities, whether that was by developing solutions for metering errors, or configuring utility savings for NYSERDA’s incentive programs, he developed early on what it means to strategize as a member of Fischer Energy Partners.

Brian’s commitment to results is derived from fundamental engineering principles, a skillset that stems from his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, earned from SUNY Maritime College. Brian was tasked with developing a maritime water research vessel for his capstone project, where he familiarized himself with turning plans into action, resolving complex electrical and pumping systems, balancing design intention with available resources and deadlines.
