Gregg Fischer, PE, CEM

Founder & CEO

Gregg Fischer is an accomplished operations and engineering executive providing energy management strategy project deployment advisory across all vertical markets and business sectors. He has a track record of implementing complex infrastructure improvements for buildings, securing record setting incentives, and enabling efficient operations for building owners. He has helmed projects as diverse as turnkey thermal ice storage systems, central utility plant optimization, and all forms of building automation. Mr. Fischer is a trusted advisor to both the public and private sector while also supporting cleantech companies on strategic planning, business and market development.

Throughout his career, Gregg has worked with many types of real estate owners to support advancements in building technologies, optimization, infrastructure renewal, and resiliency. His extensive work experience spans years with TM Bier & Associates, the Trane Company and most recently, Director of Energy Systems for Tishman Speyer. Gregg brings his diversity of experience and successful project deployment skills to every engagement, large or small.


Gregg is both an AEE Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a New York State licensed Professional Engineer (PE).  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and a Master’s degree in Global Operations Management from SUNY Stonybrook.

Roger Cheng

Vice President

Roger Cheng is a seasoned mechanical engineer focused on the MEP energy and engineering needs of the real estate world with an extensive background matching energy optimization with building operations.  His career started in construction management at Bovis Lend Lease and Turner Construction and transitioned to consulting engineering at EME Group. Most recently he had leadership roles in engineering operations at Related Companies and Tishman Speyer.  Key highlights include successfully bringing online cogeneration plants and building automation systems.    


His pragmatic approach, results oriented mentality, and ability to relate to people combined with his experience working inside of fast paced environments that ranged from ground up construction to complex retrofits, has allowed him to finely tune the requisite technical knowledge and expertise as well as leadership abilities necessary to drive results.  Roger brings his attention to detail to everything he focuses on, whether it is providing code compliance needs or constructability expertise to operational feedback.   


Roger’s grounded sensibilities stems from the love of his life and his 2 sons, who drive him insane.    


Roger holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY Stonybrook.
